BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a simple, nonsurgical, physician-administered treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in people from 18 to 65 years of age. CosmoDerm® and CosmoPlast® are FDA approved collagen fillers made from natural human collagen grown under controlled laboratory conditions. It is injected into the skin through a simple, safe and minimally invasive procedure to refine your lip line and correct wrinkles. This human collagen is similar to the collagen normally found in the skin. There is no need for a pre-treatment skin test, which means CosmoDerm® and CosmoPlast® offer physicians and patients the convenience of Collagen Replacement Therapy in just one office visit. Radiesse® is an FDA approved cosmetic dermal filler made of unique calcium-based microspheres that are suspended in a natural gel. Medical Grade Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a treatment used to improve the texture of the face by using a chemical solution that causes the top layers of dead skin to peel off. These peels help with fine, superficial wrinkles, sun damage, white and black heads, pimples, uneven skin, and improve dryness. There are several types of peels: alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) such as glycolic and lactic acid, beta hydroxy acids (BHA) such as salicylic acid, jessner’s, retinoic acid, trichloracetic acid, and phenol peels. We are pleased to offer medical grade lactic acid, jessner’s, and TCA peels.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a safe machine specially-designed to allow micro-fine crystals to pass over the skin and removes a thin layer of the outer skin. It is used to reduce wrinkles, fine lines, acne, acne scars, stretch marks, age/sun spots, enlarged pores, clogged pores, flaking and dry skin, and uneven pigmentation. Often called “The Lunch Time Peel,” each session may take between 30 minutes to one hour, depending on the areas being treated. Your skin may be slightly reddened for 20 minutes to several hours after the treatment but it is perfectly safe to apply your make-up and return to normal activities. There is no recovery or “down time” associated with microdermabrasion. Microdermabrasion can be purchased in a series of treatments or can be combined with other services such as chemical peels and Fotofacial RF™.

LipoDissolve

LipoDissolve is a nonsurgical, no down-time, cosmetic treatment that has been proven to dissolve excess fat in specific problem areas. Treatments take less than an hour- “lunchtime lipo”. This body sculpting technology permanently removes fat (known as lipotherapy) to help patients slim down and reach their desired figure. Treatments are tailored to match body types, lifestyles, and desired results. An ideal candidates for LipoDissolve is someone who routinely exercises and eats a healthy diet but cannot shed that extra layer of fat. LipoDissolve is not intended for weight loss. Through the procedure small amounts of unwanted fat are dissolved but overall weight loss is insignificant. The change to your body is gradual so you must be patient with the results.

Genetics determines the number of fat cells (adipocytes) each person has in their body. If you are pre-dispositioned to have more fat cells, it may be more difficult to get rid of the top layer of fat. LipoDissolve helps to permanently dissolve these fat cells so only a thin layer of cells remain. If you gain more weight the treated areas will not be affected but any non-treated areas (including visceral fat cells under the treated locations) will expand. LipoDissolve should be looked at as an investment in an improved body image, therefore diet and exercise are recommended to avoid any excess weight gain.

LipoDissolve is made of a pharmaceutical compound called phosphatidylcholine deoxycholate or PCDC. A series of micro-injections containing the compound are delivered to the targeted treatment areas where pockets of fat have developed around areas such as the stomach, buttocks, thighs, arms or chin. The injections work by absorbing into the fat cells causing them to swell (become slightly inflamed) and then harden. These hardened fat cells then break down and within a few weeks results can be seen, in some cases measurable inch loss. Once discarded from the body, the fat cell no longer exists. After several treatments the skin will be smooth and natural.

Results vary per person – some patients may see results in as little as two treatments or as many as nine treatments. On average, most people get the best results in 4-9 treatments. Time between treatments is normally 2 weeks but will depend on your body type and physiology. It is recommended to only treat up to three body areas at the same time. However, patients with a higher BMI should only treat one area at a time in addition to starting a nutrition program. It is highly recommended that patients keep a healthy diet and lifestyle for maximum results.

Rejuvi Tattoo Removal

Rejuvi tattoo removal is a non-laser technique using a unique chemical extraction process. Traditional or common micropigmentation or tattoo pigments are inorganic metal oxides. Rejuvi Tattoo Removal System consists of alkaline earth metal oxides and transitional metal oxides in a special formula. The metal oxides in Rejuvi Tattoo Removal System have very similar physico-chemical properties to tattoo pigments so that they have good chemical affinity. The old saying "like attracts like" reflects this principle. When Rejuvi Tattoo Removal Suspension has good physical contact with tattoo pigments (in the skin), tattoo pigments merge gradually into Rejuvi Tattoo Removal Suspension. Rejuvi Tattoo Remover is also incompatible to the skin so that the skin repels or ejects it. After the tattoo pigments merge into the Rejuvi Removal Suspension, the skin rejects the mixture to the skin surface (forms a crust or scab, which will detach from the skin). The application of Rejuvi Tattoo Removal Suspension is a tattoo-over process using a cosmetic rotary machine.
